1. Treatment of pavement
The use effect of fiberglass geogrid is closely related to the treatment of pavement. Before laying, substances that may affect the bonding strength of fiberglass geogrid and the bottom layer, such as grease, paint, sealing material, water stains, dirt, etc., should be removed from the pavement. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. If there are water marks on the road, it should be laid after the road is dry. Before laying, the pavement that does not meet the strength requirements should be treated.
2. Pour the sticky layer asphalt
(1) The asphalt used as the sticky layer should be the quick-cracking spray-type emulsified asphalt, or the fast and medium liquid petroleum asphalt. The varieties and dosages of various sticky asphalts are determined by trial spraying according to the specific conditions of the project, so as to form a uniform, continuous and as thin layer of asphalt film as possible. When the road surface is wet, do not pour the sticky layer asphalt. After the sticky layer asphalt is spread, the fiberglass geogrid should be laid immediately.
3. Laying and fixing of fiberglass geogrid
The laying of fiberglass geogrid is carried out by special equipment modified by automobiles. The two ends of the paper tube of each roll of fiberglass geogrid are marked with orange and blue marks. Before laying, the glue surface should be selected downward, and the above marking colors should be at one end, so as to facilitate the construction and avoid the glue surface. Wrong. When laying the fiberglass geogrid, it should be kept flat, taut, and not wrinkled, so that the fiberglass geogrid has effective tension.
