If the part of the geomembrane in the foundation groove has a joint, it should be welded and the cushion concrete can be poured on it after passing the inspection. In order to protect the geomembrane around the back, a layer of mortar should be applied to the back of the masonry wall to form a smooth surface in contact with the geomembrane, and the back of the geomembrane should be filled with soil. geomembrane should be left with allowance, not too tight.

This anti-seepage method is mainly suitable for newly built quay walls. It protects the entire quay wall with an anti-seepage membrane, and the position of the expansion joint does not need special treatment. If the welding quality of the geomembrane is good and it is well protected during the construction process, this method of anti-seepage of the quay wall is quite effective.

2. The anti-seepage method is to build a mortar masonry wall on the inner side of the original mortar masonry retaining wall, and the geomembrane is wrapped around the new wall and the old wall.


This method is suitable for the anti-seepage reinforcement of the old quay wall, the geomembrane behind the newly built masonry wall is in contact with the old masonry masonry wall, and the geomembrane is between the old and new masonry masonry wall. Compared with the methods described above, the construction measures of geomembrane are more strict. During construction, measures should be taken to protect the geomembrane so as not to be damaged by the old and new mortar masonry walls. The old mortar masonry wall should be cleaned up, a layer of mortar should be applied on it to form a smooth surface, and then the geomembrane should be pasted. The new wall should be built layer by layer, and the gap between the new wall and the geomembrane should be filled with mortar in time for each layer to prevent stones from breaking through the geomembrane.


The cost of this method is lower than that of concrete anti-seepage walls in lake shore anti-seepage reinforcement, but because the width of the mortar masonry wall is larger than that of the concrete wall, it will occupy the lake surface area and is not suitable for small lake areas.

The two methods described above are to use geomembrane for seepage prevention. geomembrane is the main seepage prevention material. Therefore, the quality of geomembrane is the key to achieve the seepage prevention effect. To ensure the quality of geomembrane, in addition to strictly controlling the quality of raw materials and eliminating substandard products, ensuring the welding quality of geomembrane is also a very important factor. The welding part is the weak link of the whole geomembrane, and the welding quality directly affects the anti-seepage effect of the geomembrane.


To ensure the quality of geomembrane welding, the following issues should be paid attention to:

1. Before construction, attention should be paid to adjust the welding film machine to the best working state to ensure that there is no failure during the welding process and affect the welding effect. During the construction process, attention should also be paid to adjusting and controlling the working temperature and speed of the welding film machine at any time.

2. Clean the geomembrane of the part to be welded to ensure that there is no dirt.

3. When there is virtual welding or missing welding, the welding seam must be cut. Use a hot-melt extruder to repair the cut and damaged parts with a base metal that is more than twice the diameter of the damage.

4. After the geomembrane is welded, the welding quality should be tested with a pneumatic detector in time.


3. The method of making concrete anti-seepage wall masonry stone for anti-seepage.

This method is suitable for the reconstruction of the old lake area with the original mortar masonry quay wall.

Remove the joints of the original mortar masonry quay wall, clean it up, and pour 30 cm thick concrete with anti-freezing and anti-permeability marks on the inside. The exposed part above the water surface is built with granite stone to ensure the appearance. The weakest part of this quay wall anti-seepage method is the expansion joint. A water stop should be installed at the expansion joint, the upper part of the water stop should be higher than the design normal water level, and the lower part should be fixedly connected with the anti-seepage material at the bottom of the lake to ensure no leakage channel.

This method is mainly used for the anti-seepage reinforcement of the old lake area. Compared with the method of pouring the geomembrane after the mortar masonry wall, it can reduce the occupied area of the lake area and ensure that the water storage capacity and water surface area of the lake area will not be greatly reduced after the anti-seepage reinforcement. .

The anti-seepage material of this method is actually concrete, so the quality of the concrete directly affects the anti-seepage effect of this method. Therefore, various measures must be taken to ensure the quality of concrete during construction. In addition, some of the stone materials are below the design water level, and their quality not only affects the appearance, but also affects the anti-seepage effect to a certain extent. Therefore, ensuring the masonry quality of the stone materials is also an important aspect to ensure the anti-seepage effect of the quay wall.
